Collaboration. Composition. Critique.

Student Choreographer Series (SCS) is an incredible opportunity for the young dance community to come together and share their art through choreography and composition. Student Choreographer Series is designed to showcase young choreographers– they will explore the elements of composition through working with their peers. Dancers will showcase their works before a panel of professional dancers and choreographers to receive critiques for their pieces. Dancers will have time to implement the feedback they receive before the Final Showcase before a live audience.

We are thrilled to be launching our student choreography competition this year - a concept that has been in the making for several years behind the scenes at Dance Fusion Performing Arts Studio. We would love as many students as possible to share their creativity with us this year. As always, this will be a nurturing and positive event, a chance for students of all levels to have a go at making performance art and performing it for an audience and panel of esteemed judges.
